3ds max Tips - Falloff
This video will show you how to use 3ds max standard material with a commonly used Map named "FALLOFF", this map could be used to simulate a lot of different effects, from soft surfaces to reflective surfaces like metal or even create transparent effects like "Xray" shaders. This map and material could be used with almost any 3ds max Render Engine (Mental ray, Vray, Corona, etc) because it is full compatible with them (except Iray). Sorry if my english is not the best , but I am trying to improve it and this is the only way I have to get better in this, so I hope you can understand the main concept of the video. I hope you like it and learn something useful. NOTE: This video have Spanish captions. ------------------------------ Este video muestra como usar un material estandard de 3ds max con un mapa bastante comun llamado Falloff. Este mapa puede ser utilizado para simular una variedad de efectos desde superficies suaves hasta superficies como metales o incluso crear efectos de transparencia como un efecto de rayos X. Este mapa y material pueden ser utilizados con cualquier motor de render ( Mental ray, Vray, corona, etc) ya que es 100% compatible ( excepto con Iray). NOTA: Este video tiene subtitulos en español. Importante: Yo se que mi nivel de ingles aun no es suficientemente bueno, pero mi intencion es mejorarlo a la vez que ensayo nuevas opciones como en este caso el tema de subtítulos.
