Throughout the Second World War, there were many execution sites used by the SS and the German Army. One of these was inside of the deadliest concentration camp of Auschwitz, and it became known as the Death Wall. It was found between Block 10 and Block 11 in the camp and this was known as a site of immense brutality. But on the Death Wall, there were firing squads gathered each day to condemn and execute people. Sometimes it would be a lone executioner with a pistol, and at other times it would be many SS men taking life. But it's known that thousands of prisoners and POWs were executed on the death wall.
