II - Serious Faults: a) disobeying road signs or the traffic authority agent; b) failing to observe the rules for overtaking or changing direction; c) failing to give right of way to a pedestrian crossing the transverse road towards which the vehicle is heading, or when the pedestrian has not yet completed crossing, even if there is a green light for the vehicle; d) keeping the vehicle door open or partially open during the test or part of it; e) failing to signal the intended maneuver in advance or signaling it incorrectly; f) not properly using the seatbelt; g) losing control of the vehicle while in motion; and h) committing any other serious traffic violation. III - Medium Offenses: a) executing the test route, in whole or in part, without the handbrake being fully released; b) driving at an inappropriate speed for the adverse conditions of the location, traffic, vehicle, and weather; c) stopping the engine without just cause after the start of the test; d) making an incorrect turn; e) using the horn unnecessarily or in a prohibited location; f) disengaging the vehicle's gears on slopes; g) setting the vehicle in motion without observing the necessary precautions; h) using the clutch pedal before using the brake pedal when braking; i) entering curves with the vehicle's transmission in neutral; j) engaging or using gears incorrectly during the journey; and k) committing any other traffic violation of a medium nature. IV - Minor Offenses: a) causing irregular movements in the vehicle without justified reason; b) incorrectly adjusting the driver's seat; c) not properly adjusting the rearview mirrors; d) resting the foot on the clutch pedal with the vehicle in gear and in motion; e) using or interpreting the vehicle's dashboard instruments incorrectly; f) starting the vehicle with the transmission engaged; g) attempting to move the vehicle with the transmission in neutral; and h) committing any other minor offense.
