Alto de la Picota de Liencres - Paisaje con Javier Alonso
Welcome to this program where we discuss your photos with Javier Alonso, a photographer specializing in landscape photography and author of several books on this subject (“Whispers of Nature” and “Photographing the Cantabrian Sea”), excellent books that you should have in your library if you enjoy nature photography, and specifically coastal landscapes. This program doesn't have a name yet; we want you to choose it, so leave your suggestions in the comments... What name would you like for this space? Let's get down to business. In this program, we want to explore breathtaking places from your perspective. We want you to send us landscape photographs of the most incredible places you've visited. It doesn't matter where they are; you don't need to have traveled far. There are incredible landscapes to photograph in every corner of the planet; you might even have one right next to your house. We'll be discussing that location and giving our opinion on the place, the area, and the specific photograph. If you'd like us to comment on your photo, simply send it to [email protected] with the subject line "YOUTUBE PLACES PHOTO JAVIER ALONSO." If you're a subscriber, you'll have priority over all other photos we receive and your photo will be the first to appear on the show (if you're not yet a subscriber, you can subscribe here). What we want to know about these places, and what you should tell us about your amazing landscape photos, is the following: Photo title and name Name of the place and its location Access (any difficulties accessing the location or noteworthy features) Any difficulties encountered while taking the photo EXIF data Your website or social media profile that you'd like us to mention and link to in the show notes Photo resolution and size - 2000 px on the longest side and 72 ppi resolution In This time, Isabel Curado sends us her photograph. The landscape is located at Alto de la Picota, Liencres, a magnificent spot, like all the corners of the Cantabrian coast. Isabel tells us the following in her email: This photo was taken from Alto de la Picota, Liencres, Cantabria. The difficulties you might encounter are the crowds and the wind. The place is worth it because the views are incredible. There's a route that's quite popular with hikers. I can't think of any difficulties because for me, taking this photo was a real pleasure. I went with a friend, and we caught up on each other's lives. We managed to do some macro photography and laugh about not being able to get a good shot of the butterflies that seemed to be teasing us. We also improvised a portrait session with some lovely kids who were thrilled when they saw the photos. For me, it was a great afternoon because going out for photos is a way to disconnect from the daily grind and recharge completely.
