We'll begin by ascending easy hiking trails, access roads, and forest roads, gaining altitude until we reach the start of the eastern ascent of the Hochtausing. This section, with its scrambling and climbing sections in exposed terrain, shouldn't be underestimated. After conquering this climb, the "Wörschacher Matterhorn" awaits with a breathtaking panoramic view. The descent is via the Tonisteig (Category B/C), which should definitely not be underestimated and requires sure-footedness and a head for heights.
