Solo EX Silverwind Nargacuga 18'52" (Adept Hammer) [MHGU]

Adept Hammer is interesting and pretty fun. It compensates for the weapon's major weaknesses in the fourth generation games and doesn't hamstring your moveset - you only lose the uppercut on normal charges and can still superpound and golfswing as normal. I decided to take it against Silverwind since my old solo clear is horrible, and Silverwind has a blunt weakspot on his head all the time versus only having a slashing weakspot when enraged. Silverwind is still the Monster Hunter equivalent of pulling teeth (or more accurately fighting a defensive Guile player in SF), but good adept dodges make him significantly more manageable. I feel much more comfortable fighting him now as long as he doesn't do too many instant pounces. Outside of simply not getting hit, I could get more damage if I used the regular pound more instead of the level 1 charge attack on smaller openings since I don't have the regular uppercut with adept. In order to save your ears from hearing the horrible Deviant theme for 20 minutes I put together a medley of Nargacuga themes from across the games and finished with the cover of his (its?) theme from Monster Hunter The Jazz.
