Vietnam: Nha Trang - "Diving into nature"

Nha Trang is a coastal city and the former capital of Khánh Hòa Province, located on Vietnam's South Central Coast. It is bounded by Ninh Hoà town to the north, Cam Ranh city to the south, and Diên Khánh District to the west. In 2023, the city had a population of approximately 535,000 people. On 1 July 2025, Nha Trang officially ceased to exist as a municipal city following the elimination of district-level units in Vietnam. The local economy relies heavily on tourism, as well as the fishery and services. Khanh Hoa Province and Nha Trang are among the largest contributors to Vietnam's annual budget revenues. In the suburban areas, lobster farming and a developing shipbuilding industry contribute significantly to the economy. Growth continues southward near Cam Ranh Bay, where several industrial parks are currently under construction. Furthermore, the completion of a deep-water port on Vân Phong Bay is set to establish the area as the province's third major economic zone alongside Nha Trang and Cam Ranh.
