Armenia - The Capital city of Yerevan

Yerevan is one of the world’s oldest continuously inhabited cities; older than Rome by 29 years, yet it feels surprisingly youthful. Known as the "Pink City" for the rosy volcanic tuff used in its architecture, the center is a walkable, circular masterpiece designed by architect Alexander Tamanian. For a solo traveler, it’s a rare gem: exceptionally safe, buzzing with café culture, and deeply hospitable. I’m walking and traveling in the heart of Yerevan, a city that glows pink at sunset and feels like a secret the rest of the world hasn't quite discovered yet. From the grand, symphonic arches of Republic Square to the art-drenched steps of the Cascade, this is a place where ancient history meets a modern, late-night café culture. As a solo traveler, it’s easy to feel at home here; the streets are safe, the wine is ancient, and every corner feels like an invitation to stay just a little longer.
