These days' hot summers are starting to take their toll: skin cancer has become the most common type of cancer in the Netherlands over the past thirty years. Last year, doctors had to inform patients a staggering 82,000 times that one or more tumors had been found in their skin. Is it your own fault? Certainly not always, but we can definitely reduce our risk of skin cancer.
