In this video, watch stunning aerial footage of a freight train descending from Formiga, Minas Gerais, towards Bugios, transporting wagons loaded with limestone and clinker in an important railway operation in the region. The train was pulled by BB36-7 locomotives operating on the Locotrol system, demonstrating all the strength and efficiency needed to transport this heavy load along the tracks of the Central-West region of Minas Gerais. The images were recorded on May 30, 2026, in the Paneleiros community, in Formiga, Minas Gerais, at one of the most well-known and photogenic points of the railway: the famous Horseshoe Curve. Using the DJI Mavic 4 Pro drone, it was possible to capture incredible angles that highlight the grandeur of the train and the beauty of the surrounding landscape.
