We left a camera in Chornobyl for 3 months. This is what it saw

In this episode, we return to one of the trail cameras installed earlier in the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone — and review what it captured over three months of continuous operation. Together with Andrew Simon, head of the ChornobylWild YouTube channel, we set up this camera at a small lake in an isolated part of the Zone — a natural water source during the changing season from December to March. The camera worked through snow, rain, and freezing temperatures, recording animal movement day and night. This location turned out to be especially active, as animals regularly came here to get water. The footage shows who passes through, when, and how they behave when no humans are present. Alongside expected encounters, some recordings turned out… unusual. This is the raw result of the project — without interpretation, staged scenes, or interference. Just what the camera saw.
