Haliburton Forest... open for sledding!

Jan 14 2024 at Haliburton Forest was amazing. Despite having the 2 groomers down most of the trails were fantastic for their opening weekend!! We had a group of 7 of us, Brady, Shayla, Amber, Travis, Taylor, Karley and of course... myself! We have been waiting on snow here in Haliburton Ontario for way too long this season. None of the trails for OFSC are open yet, and just a week ago everything was green. Thankfully we had a huge storm pass through and it hasn't stopped since. It was an amazing to se that Haliburton Forest opened early and have their own trail system that we can ride. It's only $52 + tax for the day and they limit the number of sledders to 100/day so you don't see a ton of traffic. Not all the trails were groomed and ready so there is a bit of breaking trail which was amazing! They are definitely worth checking out!
