So, for this issue of Mysterious Trains, I've chosen the E217 series, which runs on the Yokosuka-Sobu Rapid Line and is set to begin being replaced with the E235 series-1000 series sometime this summer or autumn, as my prey. I've been personally gaining more and more attention from this train since around last summer, and I wanted to introduce it in some way before it's replaced, so I'm featuring it this time. I've once again come away with the impression that this train has a distinctive design that's unlike anything seen before. The nimble way this uniquely designed train speeds along makes me think that there's something about it that no other train can imitate.
