Unboxing Baureihe 24 Spur1 in 1:32 mit LeoSound von Kiss/BMB BeesModellBahn - Dampflok 24 061 Review

In this unpacking video I show another series model of an adult toy in a scale of 1 to 32. It is a steam locomotive of the class 24, hand-made from brass, nicknamed "Steppenpferd" (steppe horse). Its prototype was built a total of 95 times between 1927 and 1940 and all locomotives originally had a 3-axle tender 3T16. Kiss Modellbahnen Deutschland produced the locomotive in gauge 1 in 18 variants exclusively for Bee's Modell Bahn (BMB). It is the first gauge 1 model to have sounds from LeoSoundLab as standard. They are located on a LokSound 5 XL decoder from ESU, which is housed directly in the locomotive. The sounds come from a large loudspeaker in the tender, the cables of which are integrated in the locomotive-tender coupling. For the light functions of the tender, the model has an additional LokPilot 5 Fx function decoder from ESU, which is powered by the tender's wheel sets. From minute 42 onwards I also show how my automated shuttle journeys work in my unpacking videos based on a CS3 digital control center. Most models of the 24 series have the short 3-axle tender 3T16 that is common on the Steppenpferd. However, the prototype of the 24 061 in the Epoch III version presented here in the video received a 4-axle tender 2'2'T26 from a class 50 in 1948. After I have already published two preview videos of a hand-made model of the class 24 with a 3-axle tender (see links below) and another variant can also be seen extensively in a video about a great Gauge 1 system in the Ampflwang locomotive park (see link also below), I decided to request one of the two produced variants with a 4-axle tender on loan for this video and for a report in a specialist magazine. The model has a length over buffers of almost exactly 61 centimeters and weighs just under 4.6 kilograms including the tender. Since a few small grease spots can be seen on the model in the video, a little tip from me: Sascha Thomas, the service partner of Bee's Modellbahn, has kindly already greased the locomotive and run it in a little to make my work easier so that I don't need any more time for that in my video. Finally, each variant could also be ordered optionally with a patination by Michiel Stolp (Becasse Weathering) for an additional charge of around 400 euros.
