🐑 How do real Carpathian shepherds live in 2026? In this video, I visited the meadow near the village of Shyroky Lug and met the hereditary shepherd Berdar Petro Mykolayovych. Sheep breeding for him is a family business, which he took over in childhood. From the age of 15, Petro Mykolayovych worked in the meadow as a full-fledged shepherd, because he knew all the intricacies of this difficult profession. Later, he worked in forestry for many years, but a few years ago he returned to his true calling. Today he is the main shepherd and says that he will do this business as long as he has health and strength.
