Today I visited the village of Vilkhivchyk, in the Kaminchyk hamlet, on the large farm of Ivan Vasilyovych Pokovba (born in 1981). Over the past five years, Ivan Vasilyovych has created a powerful sheep farm on his own. The love for sheep is passed down in their family from generation to generation - his grandfather and uncles were involved in this. From an early age, he walked with them around the flock, and later decided to continue the family business and create his own farm. Today, the farm has: about 160 sheep, goats, including unique Colombian breeds, 4 horses, cows, 11 dogs that guard the herd. In the video, we talk about sheep farming, the peculiarities of livestock keeping, daily work and the challenges of rural life. I was sincerely impressed by Ivan Vasilyovych's talent, hard work and dedication to the cause. He plans to expand the farm and develop the business further. Ivan Vasilyovych is greatly supported by his family - his wife and children, who help and work together every day. In addition to farming, Ivan Vasilyovych is a musician. For many years, he played at weddings, as do his relatives. His son, who already plays the tambourine, continues the musical tradition.
