One highlight was visiting the Cape Forchu Lighthouse, located at the western edge of Nova Scotia. Originally built in 1839 and rebuilt in 1962, its unique apple-core design was made to withstand harsh ocean winds—and the views absolutely deliver. The grounds are open year-round, making it an easy and scenic stop if you’re exploring the area.
