LF 20 der FF WALSRODE

Today I'm visiting the Walsrode Volunteer Fire Department in the beautiful Lüneburg Heath. Together with Andreas, we're taking a look at the department's new workhorse: a modern LF 20 fire engine on a MAN chassis, replacing an aging vehicle. We'll go into detail and show you everything this vehicle has on board – from the modern cab interior to the specialized equipment for firefighting and technical assistance. Video highlights: Chassis: MAN 18-ton, 320 hp, Euro 5. Cab: 4 self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) units directly in the crew compartment (safety team immediately ready for deployment!), Flir thermal imaging camera, and explosion-proof radios. Technology: Multifunction display with reversing camera, turning assistant, and a FireCan interface for the generator. Special feature: Shovels and brooms are stowed in such a way that no one has to climb onto the roof anymore! 🧹 What do you think of the solution with the clearing tools in the equipment compartment instead of on the roof? Let me know your opinion in the comments! 👇 Chapters: 0:00 Welcome & Introduction 1:53 The Chassis & Driver's Cab 4:45 Breathing Apparatus & Interior 10:38 Equipment Compartments & Load 14:12 Firefighters Return from the Scene If you enjoyed the video, please subscribe and turn on notifications! 🔔 Your Firefighter Willi #FirefighterWilli #Walsrode #LF20 #FireDepartment #EmergencyVehicle #MAN #Volunteer #FirefightingEquipment More from the Walsrode Fire Department: http://www.feuerwehr-walsrode.de Instagram:   / feuerwehr_walsrode_112   Facebook:   / ffwwalsrode   Note: This video contains advertising.
