October 15, 2023 This time, I ran as a pacesetter, not a runner. I wanted to run in cosplay, but since the main character was an athlete, that was not possible, so I ran in "Beppu-style." Adjusting my running pace while taking into account start losses and start congestion, and running in consultation with the other pacers, was very challenging, but I really enjoyed running. The course runs through the same Tokyo metropolitan area as the Tokyo Marathon, allowing you to experience the exhilaration of running through the city and the New National Stadium. There is a slight elevation difference of ±30m.
