Tiny Room Stories: Town Mystery | Chapter 9: Fragments | Gridcell Warehouse

Welcome back to Tiny Room Stories: Town Mystery. It is the first entry into the Tiny Room franchise of indie puzzle games that feature strong narrative elements combined with intricate puzzles with hints scattered throughout the levels. Primarily a point-and-click game, it leverages 3D computer graphics to enable players to rotate the scene in three dimensions and enable them to obtain more information and solve puzzles in a more interactive fashion. The tale follows Peter Stone Jn, a private investigator, who is beckoned by his father to come visit his childhood home in Redcliff. However, upon reaching the town, it seems completely deserted, prompting him to prod further and uncover the mystery behind what really happened there. Based on the emails Peter found at NEXT Lab, he realised that his next destination lies at the Gridcell Warehouse here in Redcliff. That is where the rest of the Crystal Fragments should be. As usual, his way inside is barred by a gate. This time, however, Stone gets frustrated and runs the gate down with his car instead. Once inside, he find the rest of the Warehouse off limits. Luckily for him, being a corporation, most of the passcodes are based around the name and logo of the Company. He enters the storage closet to realise that the fuses in the main electrical function have been blown and that he needs to find replacements. He heads into the Workers' lounge to find a tablet hidden away in the safe. However, when he gains access to it, he finds nothing. He uses the ladder beside the electricity closet to access the main warehouse through a skylight and finds a replacement fuse within, as well as cut shreds of paper providing him with a password for something. He first takes the fuse within to restore power to the facility so that he can break the electronic security. The password to the control room was the letters GRIDCELL in T9, and the password to the Tablet was the old logo of GRIDCELL. Within, he first synchronised the database on his tablet and found an email about the shipment dates from NEXT Lab, as well as another Fuse. He used this to recharge the forklift's battery so that he could obtain the first of four briefcases with crystals. Peter then pieced together information from the Shipment Logs, the containers outside, as well as the Database to acquire the rest of the Shipments from the inventory. He now had five fragments in total, including the fragment that he liberated from NEXT Lab. His next stop was the Mayor's home.
