In this video, I take a closer look at the Ladoga Archipelago and test various fishing methods away from the usual spots. Besides wacky rigs and trolling, I try fishing with live bait for burbot, zander, and char, and see what results I can achieve. I also test float fishing around the islands and show which whitefish species can be reliably caught there at depths of approximately 3.5 to 4 meters. I compare different hook and bait combinations and demonstrate which methods are particularly worthwhile for silver, rare fish, and diverse catches. Finally, I look at the silver yield of the different fish species and summarize which fishing methods have proven most effective in the Ladoga Archipelago and where further testing might be worthwhile.
