From afar, the large peak resembles a carp with its mouth open, looking up at the sky, hence the name "Bungeosan." ※ Hiking Guide The Cheonjusa Temple parking lot can accommodate approximately 25 cars. If there are no spaces available, you can park in the large parking lot a little further down. The trailhead leads to the restroom on the left and toward the Daeungjeon Hall of Cheonjusa Temple. The restroom route is a bit rough, so it's best to head toward Cheonjusa Temple. The mineral spring water below the Beopgo (dharma drum) is good, so bring an empty bottle to fill it with water. The return hike is approximately 2.3 km, making for a leisurely hike. Following the hiking club, you'll pass Gongdeoksan Mountain and reach the Unpilam Parking Lot. Distance: 7.2 km, Time: 4 hours and 20 minutes. Many hikers hike two mountains in one day. After passing the stone pagoda, the 200-meter ridge is the highlight of Cheonjusan Mountain, also known as the Sky Trail. For anyone who enjoys hiking, the Cheonjusan hike is an easy hike.
