This week was the end of Sukkot. On the last day, we visited friends in Herzliya, a city next to Tel Aviv. On the way there, we happened to encounter President Trump’s visit to Israel, which caused full traffic control on the streets. On the way back, public transportation ended early due to the Jewish holiday, forcing us to walk for two hours before finally getting home—it was really exhausting. Besides that, we also took the opportunity to go to the Jerusalem Theatre to listen to the opening season concert of the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra (JSO). Unexpectedly, before the official program began, they performed the national anthem, which was especially moving.
