Both men are close to Mnangagwa. The tender was initially allocated to Wicknell Chivayo, however due to a fight between Paul Tungwarara of Prevail group/Paulos Construction and Wicknel Chivayo, the tender has now been given to Scott Sakupwanya. Scott Sakupwanya is working with Paul Tungwarara and has been allocated the lucrative contract to supply boreholes, tanks and plumbing for irrigation for over 35 000 villages. The borehole drilling, together with the associated installations, is expected to cost over USD$1 Billion. The projects were launched this week in Masvingo and the Midlands.
