Władimir Bukowski – Dysydent końca wieku [CAŁY FILM]

A documentary about Vladimir Bukovsky – the legendary Russian dissident who described the Soviet Union without illusions and presented his pessimistic vision of the European Union. The documentary was created entirely by accident. Public television, which had established a partnership with the leftist German-French television station Arte, had no other projects, and presented ours to the client. The latter – I think because Bukowski was not Polish – accepted the film for production. At the screening, I was told that a person with my views would not be a film director in their country. I was told to "unravel the film like a sweater and sew it all back together." The French screening participants hoped that Vladimir Bukovsky would be like a fish lying on the beach, longing for water. However, Bukowski presented his pessimistic vision of the European Union in the film and described the Soviet Union and what remained of it without illusions.
