Exploring Whittier and Girdwood | Alaska

Back in June my family came to visit. We had a few days to explore both Whittier and Girdwood. Whittier was rainy per usual but it is always one of the coolest places to explore. The tunnel into town is so unique and so truly impressive. The town is surrounded by the most beautiful mountains and the beautiful Prince William Sound. There isn't a ton to do there on a rainy day but we definitely maid the most of it. Girdwood is another small town located about an hour south of Anchorage. It is located in a beautiful mountain range with lots of hikes near by and a small quant town. We explored near Alyeska Resort and headed up the tram to the top. The views from the top were beautiful and fun to see. We stopped at Chair 5, a local restaurant with typical American food. Definitely a fun town to visit while exploring the Anchorage area.
