Just two hours from Kuala Lumpur, this UNESCO World Heritage city is where Malaysian culture as we know it was born: Peranakan Nyonya cuisine, Dutch colonial architecture, Portuguese heritage, and some of the most layered food history in Southeast Asia — all within walking distance of each other.
