Sukhothai is one of Thailand's most ancient cities, the first capital of the Siamese Kingdom, and home to some of the most breathtaking temple ruins in all of Southeast Asia. During the day we explored the historic park and at night, we were lucky enough to experience this beautiful festival. This is not the crowded, commercialised version of Loy Krathong.
