Hello everyone! Today I'd like to suggest you cook stewed squid in sour cream and onions. This is one of the easiest ways to cook squid. Squid in sour cream turns out very tender and delicious. Enjoy! Video recipe starts at 5:10 INGREDIENTS: 1. 4 peeled squid or 600-800 g 2. 2 medium onions or 1 large onion 3. Salt and pepper to taste 4. 50 g butter 5. 3 tbsp sour cream 6. 50 ml water 7. 1 tbsp flour HOW TO COOK? Clean the squid correctly and quickly. (See video) Place the squid in a deep saucepan or bowl. Pour boiling water over the squid until it's completely covered, then let it sit for one minute. Then drain and fill with cold water. Clean the squid: Remove the colored and clear membrane from the surface. I clean the squid by hand, as the membrane comes off easily after the temperature change. You can remove the membrane with the blunt side of a knife. It's important to remove the membrane thoroughly, as it becomes tough during cooking. Turn the squid inside out and remove all the entrails. Don't forget the clear membrane. Then rinse the squid again under running water. Cut the squid into half rings, up to 1 cm thick. Melt the butter in a frying pan. Add the sliced onion and cook until golden brown. Then add one tablespoon of flour and stir. Add the squid to the onion mixture. Stir. Add sour cream and water. Salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a boil, simmer for 3 minutes, covered, and turn off the heat. I recommend serving the squid with boiled rice.
