Royal Enfield Meteor 350 - POV Ride Cornwall : Porthallow - Manaccan - Helston

Late afternoon on a sunny September day in Cornwall. Part 2 of a ride from Coverack, I travel from Porthallow back to Helston on the sometimes gnarly lanes of this wonderful land I call home, where surprises await you around every beautiful twist and turn. The Meteor 350 once again demonstrates its almost perfect synchronicity with the environment, soothing and pleasing the soul of its rider with its iconic, metronomic thumping powerplant. Apologies for the glare at times, the sun, being low in the west at this time of day, occasionally created a bit of an issue for both the camera and my vision, even with my helmet's internal sun visor down. Much of the first part of this ride from Porthallow, to Manaccan and on through to St. Martin is, or at least was, a route I used to drive a bus on regularly 20 or so years ago. I hope you enjoy the miles, the sights and sounds and the rhythm of the ride. (Apologies for the muted sound at 9:26 - having to dismount and push a motorcycle backwards up a 16% gradient made me cuss a little. It was unfortunate timing to meet the combine at probably the narrowest few yards of that stretch but a good illustration of why you should always ride at a speed that allows you to stop in the distance you can see to be clear). #royalenfield #motorcycling #motorcycletips #meteor350 #cornwall #motorcycletips #advancedriding #ukroadsafety #motorcycleskills #advancedmotorcycling #ridertraining #motorcycletrips #motorcyclelife #motorcycleasmr #motorcyclesafety
