GIANT PHILIPPINES TILAPIA! Biggest Lake in Mindanao (Road to Marawi)

THEY HAVE GIANT TILAPIA IN LAKE LANAO... THE BIGGEST LAKE IN MINDANAO! This day starts off in Picong Lanao Del Sur. I pass through the little tunnel and make my way toward Malabang. There, I decide to turn off and head up towards Lake Lanao. In all my life here in Mindanao, I have never seen the biggest lake with my own eyes... but now I have. Spending time at a Lake Side Resto (literally the name) in Ganassi, I really appreciated not only the local conversation, but the giant tilapia! YES, LITERALLY GIANT TILAPIA! Just look how freaking big the chunk of fish meat was. Slathered in coconut milk sauce with a hint of palapa... it was amazing! Do I suggest scootering around areas of Lanao Del Sur alone and without local friends or guides? No. But I was uplifted on this day, feeling the positive interactions I was having with Maranaos.
