Episode #30 - Handover Day! - The Wait is Over! - We Did It! After months of searching, comparing, negotiating and walking away... the day had finally arrived. On 18th June 2026, we set off for Rove Motorhomes in Selston to collect our very first motorhome – our beautiful Dethleffs Magic Edition. Mike had been counting down the days, and we couldn't wait to get there. Excited, nervous and smiling from ear to ear, we arrived right on time where Sales Manager Joe Seal was waiting to show all the features of our new motorhome. Joe explained how everything worked, answered all of our questions and made sure we were ready for our very first adventure. While Mike signed the final paperwork, I was presented with my Rove teddy... (Don't forget, we are still waiting for name suggestions for him!) and then came the moment we'd been waiting for... The keys were finally ours! 🔑🚐 The drive home was unforgettable. We even celebrated with a McDonald's... enjoyed from the comfort of our very own front lounge. It wasn't just another meal – it was our very first meal in Magic. Happy, exhausted and still smiling, we arrived home... and neither of us wanted to get out. This wasn't just collection day.
