Start of the school summer holidays meant for one of the busiest weeks of the year for flying. Lots of holiday flights and charter airlines around, as well as the regulars. This footage was taken between 06:30 & 10:30, the duration of Manchester's second runway, 23L being open for the morning before it closes. Looking at the weather you'd struggle to believe it was the middle of summer. It wasn't cold, just very humid and misty.
