A third of the disillusioned voters are flocking to the AfD, which has climbed to 18 percent. This is no accident. This is the result of a policy that has nothing to do with conservative values ​​anymore – a green-left capitulation under the guise of the CDU. Günther, this self-proclaimed "moderate," is leading the party to ruin. The pinnacle of his irresponsibility: the Northvolt bankruptcy. Contrary to all warnings from experts, the Court of Auditors, and the opposition, Günther, together with the coalition government, poured hundreds of millions of euros of taxpayers' money into the Swedish battery startup – up to 600 million euros in direct aid for the factory in Heide. The risks were well-known: unsecured financing, questionable business plans, and gross negligence. The State Audit Office speaks of a serious violation of the state budget regulations. Despite this, the money kept flowing. Now the project is insolvent, millions are gone, and the taxpayer has to foot the bill. A responsible state premier would resign. Not Günther. He seems utterly indifferent to the loss of taxpayers' money. Instead, he saves himself with excuses and remains in office – a classic case of political irresponsibility. While citizens struggle with inflation and energy prices, he squanders their money on green dreams that are doomed to fail in reality. This isn't Christian Democratic, this is far-left: ideology before reason, activism before fiscal discipline. Günther has turned the CDU into a mini version of the Greens. He flirts with the Left Party, breaks constitutional principles, and ignores the concerns of his own base. The result: voters are fleeing in droves. The poll is a wake-up call – or rather, a tombstone for his term in office. Schleswig-Holstein deserves a Minister-President who respects taxpayers' money instead of squandering it, and who pursues conservative policies instead of pandering to the green zeitgeist. Günther must go. The CDU needs genuine renewal before its collapse becomes complete.
