Best served with steamed rice, bread, dosa, bakris or even pulao, it’s comfort food with a story in every bite. Ingredients: ½ Kg Chicken Pieces For Masala Paste: (roast & grind with little water) ½ Coconut – pieces/grated 1 Medium size onion -Sliced 3 Green Chillies 6 to 7 Garlic Cloves ( I have taken Large Cloves so taken 5 only) 1 inch Ginger Pieces Little Fresh Coriander leaves Roast and grind the above with little water 3 Tbsp Oil 7 to 8 Black Pepper corns 1 Star Anise 2 Green Cardamoms/Elaichi 1 small piece Cinnamon/Dalchini 1 Bay Leaf/Tej Pata 2 Cloves/Laung Salt As per taste 1 Carrot – diced 1 or 2 Potatoes - diced Green Peas Optional 2 Tsp East Indian Bottle Masala/Malwani Masala/ Chicken Masala / Sunday Special Masala or any meat masala of your choice can be used ½ Lemon size Tamarind soaked in ¼ Cup hot water – use pulp Fresh Coriander leaves for garnishing Best served with Rice/Bhakris/Chapatis/Neer dosa/Any Dosa of your choice Note: Green chillies can be adjusted as per preference Bottle Masala too adjust as per your Brand you use.
