Former Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu has broken his silence. On the day the parliament inaugurated the new government led by Vasile Tofan, he published a lengthy message on social media in which he took stock of his activity, rejected one of the main hypotheses regarding his resignation and addressed a few words of guidance to his successor. Munteanu denies that he left office because of the tax reform, which he claims was professionally drafted and positively appreciated by experts both at home and abroad, including the International Monetary Fund.
