CCM Webinar - What is the CCM strategy for the next decade?

This presentation outlines the strategy of the Consultative Committee for Mass and Related Quantities (CCM) for the period 2026–2036. The strategy defines the CCM’s priorities for supporting international cooperation, measurement traceability and future developments in mass metrology and related quantities. The strategy supports the continued international comparability and reliability of measurements in mass and related quantities. The presentation was delivered by Georgette Macdonald, President of the CCM and Director General of the Metrology Research Centre at the National Research Council Canada (NRC Canada), during a CCM webinar held on 17 April 2026. It highlights the main areas that will guide the CCM’s work over the coming decade and its role in addressing emerging measurement needs while strengthening the global metrology framework.
