Yamaha Absolute Hybrid Maple Review (Studio Demo)

Check out the Yamaha Absolute Hybrid Maple! (Link below⬇️) https://drumhelper.com/recommends/yam... The Absolute Hybrid Maple is one of Yamaha’s most respected high-end drum kits, combining maple shells with a wenge core to create a sound that’s incredibly clear, punchy and musical. In this video I spend some proper time playing and recording this kit to show you exactly what it can do. We’ll take a look at the shell design, hardware, and overall build quality, and of course hear how it sounds across a few different tunings. I’ve been recording quite a lot with this kit over the past few weeks and what really stands out to me is just how clean and controlled the tone is. The rack toms are super defined, the floor toms sound huge, and the bass drum has loads of punch and weight behind it. This is a seriously versatile kit that would work beautifully in studio sessions, live gigs, theatre pits, or pretty much any musical situation. Everything in this video is recorded with my Earthworks DK7 drum mics, straight into my Focusrite Scarlett 18i20, with just a bit of light EQ and compression.
