Howie Dash is current president of the Aril Society International and a member of the AIS Board of Directors. Howie originally grew arilbred irises in the Hudson Valley of New York and moved to Las Cruces, NM 11 years ago where he acquired an extensive collection of aril and arilbed irises. He has hybridized tall bearded and arilbred irises since 2010. His first arilbred introduction was in 2019, ‘Chihuahua Night,’ pictured on the cover of this video.
