Twin Peaks Diesel Gala, 2 Railways 1 Gala! (Ecclesbourne Valley Railway) 11/04/26

Join us for Day 2 of the Twin Peaks Diesel Gala where two heritage railways join forces to present one ultimate diesel gala. Both Ecclesbourne Valley Railway & Peak Rail located in the Peak District host their Spring Diesel Gala with a range of different locomotives in operation from BR Class 02s to mighty mainline class 47s. Day 2 starts at Duffield Station, the terminus station where locos can be seen running round their train before heading back towards Wirksworth. Alongside Duffield Heritage Station is Duffield's Mainline Station where EMR & Cross Country Voyagers and EMR 810s can be seen. We then head off on the Ecclesbourne Valley Way following alongside the river spotting trains on the way, until the path then peels off away from the railway. So we begin heading back alongside the railway on a path that runs next to the Ecclesbourne Valley Way before reach Duffield once again.
