Yes, THAT Bridgestone. The tire company. With just over 3,000 original miles, this little two-stroke time capsule has been sitting for who knows how many decades. But if there's one thing we've learned around here, it's that every old motorcycle deserves one more chance to get back on the road. We started with the basics: spark, fuel, and...well...let's be honest, I rarely check compression. After hooking up a 12-volt jump box, we immediately got signs of life with working lights and even a functioning horn. If a 60-year-old horn works, that's practically a guarantee it'll run, right? Next came the hunt for the ignition points, hidden behind the generator like Bridgestone was trying to keep them a secret. After a quick cleaning and some caveman-level timing adjustments, we had spark. A peek down the spark plug holes revealed something we never expected: beautiful cylinder walls. After that, it was time for the official Motorcycle Rewind procedure: spray and pray. Of course, it wasn't quite that easy. The carbs had to come off for a quick "rebuild" consisting mostly of carb cleaner and optimism. But after bolting everything back together and giving it a few kicks... IT'S ALIVE! Join us as we bring this incredibly rare 1966 Bridgestone BS175 Dual Twin back to life for the first time in decades. Will it run? YES!
