🇨🇾 Cyprus accuses Turkey of obstructing gas exploration

Cyprus has accused Turkey of obstructing its offshore gas exploration in the east Mediterranean. Turkish Cypriots want a revenue-sharing agreement to be finalised before any drilling off the divided island can start. It was hoped that the potential of natural gas could bring the two sides together. But the fear is it will further complicate efforts to find a permanent solution to the Cyprus problem.
