Cyprus is one of the most fascinating islands in the world — divided between two sides, two identities, and two very different realities. In this episode, I started my journey in the Turkish side of Cyprus, exploring its streets, culture, food, and daily life, while trying to understand why this island is still divided today. Then, I crossed to the European side of Cyprus to see how different life feels on the other side. But the most shocking part of the journey was visiting the abandoned ghost city of Varosha — a place once full of luxury hotels, beaches, and life, but now standing silent and frozen in time. This is the story of Cyprus: a beautiful island with a complicated past, a divided present, and one of the most haunting abandoned cities in Europe.
