Gunfight at the OK Corral (Tombstone Re-enactment)
Fun fact: The gunfight between the lawmen and the cowboys never happened at the OK Corral. It actually took place in an empty lot adjacent to Allen Street (very close to the corral). History would have easily forgotten "The gunfight in the empty lot," so over time it became known as "The Gunfight at the OK Corral." This is a daily re-enactment they do in Tombstone, AZ: 'The Town Too Tough to Die.' Wyatt Earp, Virgil Earp, Morgan Earp, and Doc Holliday VS. Billy Claiborne, Ike Clanton, Billy Clanton (killed), Tom McLaury (killed), and Frank McLaury (killed). --October 26, 1881
