Balwin Properties False Bay 50km | Rain, Wind & Refusing to Quit
50 kilometres. Howling winds. Relentless rain. And a finish line that felt like it would never come. The Balwin Properties False Bay 50km threw everything at us. For the first 35km the conditions were absolutely brutal — strong winds and driving rain that tested every single runner out on that course. There were moments where quitting felt like the easier option. But easy was never the goal. 💪 Sometimes the toughest races are the ones that teach you the most about yourself. When the weather turns and the road gets hard, you find out exactly what you are made of. And out there on the False Bay route — I found out. 🙌 Crossing that finish line with a smile on my face said it all. No matter how tough it gets — keep moving forward. One step at a time. 🏃♂️ If you love real, raw and honest running content — come join me on this journey!
