[Hubert Reeves] Cosmos et créativité

September 27, 2011 Science Center Tuesdays with Hubert Reeves, astrophysicist and writer. Contemporary astronomy teaches us that our universe has a history. It can be likened to a progressive growth of cosmic complexity. Emerging from a formless magma, increasingly organized structures gradually appear (atoms, molecules, cells, living organisms). They possess a variety of emergent properties. Chance and laws play a major role in their development. The artistic creator (music, painting, literature) participates in this movement and makes their own contribution. They are the "artisan of the eighth day" in this vast "cosmic adventure."
