La physique touche-t-elle l’universel ? [Étienne Klein]

🎥 Science Space Tuesdays 🎤 https://www.espace-sciences.org/renne... We humans live in a unique context—our planet and its immediate environment—where everything leads us to believe that it is the correct frame of reference for thinking, reasoning, knowing, discovering, and understanding. That it contains all the necessary and sufficient ingredients for identifying the laws of the world, those that are the most "natural." However, physical laws, the "true" ones, those that are universally valid, are not a matter of a bureaucracy of appearances, nor of an empathic connection with things. They are, in fact, radically different from those we deduce from the spectacle the world offers us, or even from our simple physical sensations. This is why they seem so strange, so foreign, even paradoxical. But then, how were they discovered?
