Today I am talking to Ven. Hong Xiang, who is a PhD candidate at the Centre of Buddhist Studies at Hong Kong University, and also a visiting student here in Cambridge. He talks about how he became a monk and how his mother shaped his education for him and his twin brother even after they had become monks.
