PA28 - Gloucestershire To Kemble | Crosswind Landing | ATC Audio

In this episode I am joined by Jack for a short, yet very enjoyable flight in G-BASJ from Gloucester to Kemble. The weather in the immediate vicinity of Gloucester was certainly misbehaving and it was only after a considerable wait that we were able to get airborne. This combined with a temporary airspace restriction imposed by RAF Brize Norton meant that we are initially forced to depart and head West towards Ross-on-Wye. Once away from Gloucester we find clear air and I demonstrate to Jack how the weather can dramatically change over a distance of only a few miles. When Brize collapse the controlled airspace we then head back East towards Kemble. The landing at Kemble presented some challenging wind conditions.
