Checkride Prep Part 1 | "Let's Do A Couple More"
In this first checkride prep flight, we had to adapt our plan on the fly. Low clouds meant we couldn't practice higher altitude maneuvers such as stalls and steep turns, so we diverted to Crestview to focus on takeoffs and landings. After refining those, we shifted to a local training area for ground reference maneuvers like S-turns over a road and turns around a point. It's a flight full of adjustments, experiences and honest self evaluation as I continue to work toward my private pilot checkride. If you're a pilot or student pilot, I'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback in the comments.
